Using antique roasters CB’s Nuts uses our famous small batch barrel roasting to bring out the best flavors in almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios, pecans, and mixed nuts without unnecessary added oils. If you like nuts, you’re going to LOVE CB’s tree nuts. Note: We’ve discovered that macadamia nuts are best kettle roasted in peanut oil so we have changed how we roast these very oily nuts.
All of our tree nuts are roasted (and butters processed) in our Kingston, WA, retail shop to keep them completely separate from our peanut roasting facility just down the road—you can be confident that our nuts and peanuts never cross paths or share any equipment.

Rich, oily, satisfying and delicious, macadamia nuts are truly in a class of their own. We’ve recently worked out that due the high oil content of macadamia nuts we get a better result kettle roasting these—they are less messy to handle with a nicer texture, but keep their lovely flavor.
A lot of attention goes into roasting pistachios just right. Our roasters are artists when it comes to nuts and use the antique barrel roaster and small batches of nuts to bring each batch of pistachios to perfection.

Tree Nut Butters
Our tree nut butters are offered in 3 flavors—Sea Salt, Smoked, and Chocolate (the chocolate varieties are made by blending chocolate chips and do contain some sugar, but only about 12g in the 8oz container). We smoke our nuts in a real smoker, no liquid smoke or artificial flavorings are used.
The key to any tasty nut butter is in the roasting, and CB’s method of slow roasting in small batches produces the best flavored almonds for grinding into butter that you’ve had. No added oils or sugar, just perfectly roasted almonds with a touch of sea salt.
Hazelnuts (or filberts if you like) are loaded with nutrition and have a unique taste that many people love. Like our other nut butters, our hazelnut butter starts with a perfect slow roast before being being ground. You might have to fight with the kids over this one.
