It happened at the ball park — a Mariner's vs Orioles game at Baltimore's Camden Yards to be exact.
It was at this game that Clark (yes, he's the "C" in CB's!), a nut-crazed baseball fan, caught the
fresh roasted peanut bug that changed his life... and just may change yours too.
By the time the first inning of that fateful game was over and Clark's bag of fresh roasted peanuts
was long gone, the first chapter of the CB's Nuts story started to form. Clark headed back home to the
Puget Sound and set out to perfect the art of craft roasting peanuts and other nuts in small batches,
emphasizing high quality and low environmental impact.
Today, our family owned and operated business sources raw conventional and organic peanuts, pistachios
and other nuts grown by hardworking farmers across the United States. We brine them in a specially developed
process and then roast them in small batches in our custom made barrel roaster to bring out the flavor
potential of each and every nut.
From that first taste of a fresh roasted peanut at Camden Yards to a stand outside of Safeco Field in
Seattle, the opening of CB's Nuts certified organic processing facility in Kingston, Washington, and sales
of CB's Nuts peanuts, pistachios and self-grind peanut butter in hundreds of stores across the Pacific
Northwest, the CB's Nuts story continues to unfold.
